Fruit Jamun is moving from a tragedy to a success story!

Fruit Jamun is moving from a tragedy to a success story. The topic of the geographical indication of Badlapur Jamun Fruit
was new to the people of Badlapur. Europe has 59000 geographical codes, whereas India only has 120.This thing was noticed by a young Badlapur resident. The young man had the belief that the delicious fruit with a very sweet taste in the village where he lived and grew up was worthy of a geographical indication. But administrative, technical, financial, and family support were also urgently needed. But according to the saying that “will not lose and will not fight,” this young man started working vigorously.

In the last year, the young man completed the work of two
years by making about forty-five consignments in the
agricultural department, about twenty consignments at the
collector’s office, about twenty consignments at district
planning, as well as numerous consignments in places like
Pune, Mumbai, and Delhi, and at least four hundred and fifty
phone calls. The name of this young man is Aditya Arvind
Gole. In the meeting dated April 18, the honourable collector
mentioned the name of Aditya Gole and publicly said, “This
young man’s intentions are pure and trustworthy, and it is
visible from his body language.” Otherwise, this work would
have been kept on hold for six months. “But the taste of
Badlapur’s jamun and Aditya Gole’s genuine efforts made us
support his work.”

The Badlapur Jamun was on the verge of extinction. But now there is no doubt that it will create history. Aditya Gole also had to survey twenty villages in Badlapur and surrounding areas. Despite repeated requests, the information was not available to the Agricultural Department. They were getting answers like “today” or “tomorrow.” They were getting answers like, “Come back tomorrow, then we will see.” So, Aditya and his fellow friends searched twenty villages, i.e.

Rahtoli, Eranjad, Pachon, Badlapur village, Padirpada, Boradpada, Barvi dam area, etc. This work was started at his own expense. But if the case of rating was to be fought, lakhs of rupees would have been spent. Therefore, the collector himself requested that we take notice. “We have eaten your jamuns, and if you are conserving them, we are with you,” said the collector himself.

Eknath Shinde saheb, the guardian minister, was also directed to inspect Gole’s work and take appropriate action. Mr. Waman Mhatre promised to help in this work. Mr. Kisan Kathore, MLA, also requested that the district planning officer take notice. The most important task was to bring these efforts to the minister’s attention, Mr. Kapil Patil. It is in the interest of the village, and the prestige of Thane district is going to increase. As a result, the Honorable Patil Saheb was informed via letter. Immediately, his office gave a positive reply.

Aditya Gole decided to call Mr. Hingmire as a lawyer with the intention of filing a case if everything was going well. Advocate Mr. Hingmire is a lawyer from Cardiff University who came to India from England and has received the National Award twice from the Central Government of India. Aditya Gole’s contacts in Delhi came in handy this time. Respecting his request, Hingmere accepted this Badlapur Jamun fruit case. The first hearing was held on April 18, 2022, in the office of Collector Thane.

Financial funds will be needed for this work, and for this occasion, we are appealing to environment lovers and jamun fruit lovers to help financially. A trust registered with the Charity Commissioner, Thane, has been established for this work. The said trust is ``Badlapur Jambhul Parisamvardhan,`` however, we are requesting everyone to take notice of this and provide appropriate assistance.
